Our designers had not foreseen the inevitabe probability of slicks growing in size so this new monster tyre would not fit the swingingarm. To remedy this in a hurry, we had to revert to 'bush mechanic tactics' by heating and crushing each arm in a large vice until the desired clearance was obtained.'
